apricot doulas

Rebecca Desa, cld, cbe, PMH-C, vbac specialist

Raising two girls and a boy, with seven years between my oldest and youngest, has shown me how different every birth and postpartum season can be. I had unmedicated deliveries with each of them, and I felt empowered by those experiences, which led me to pursue work in this field. I expanded my knowledge and became a childbirth educator, a certified VBAC specialist, and a certified Perinatal Mental Health Coach. Postpartum doesn't end at six weeks. I would be honored to be a part of your support team.

Owner and founder

hannah madrid, cld

I'm a mom to three wonderful children: two boys and a girl. Giving birth to my first child led me to discover my passion for doula work. I had always admired this field and believed our bodies are incredible and capable of amazing things. My doula, Rebecca, supported both my husband and me through my first labor, and her care showed me how powerful that kind of support can be. When I'm not supporting families, you can find me with an iced coffee in hand, rewatching Friends or Grey's Anatomy. I can't wait to support you and your journey.

Hi, I'm China (she/her)! I'm a sister, wife, and mother of one. My favorite things include exploring new cafes, cooking, and taking long walks when the weather's nice. Fall is my favorite season, and I'm always down for a pumpkin spice latte.

I have a master's in education, and most of my professional experience has been working with youth of all ages. I became a doula because I want birthing people to feel supported and heard, especially when it comes to honoring their cultural traditions and preferences. Whether you're a first-time parent or a third-time parent, I want to be your guide through this transition.

I had an unmedicated delivery in a hospital setting, and it was my own doula's support and advocacy that made that experience possible for me. Let me be a supportive part of your journey.
